Aram Child Foundation Trust organized a Tuberculosis (TB) Awareness Programme for more than 50 children in a village located in the Ellapuram Union, Uthukottai Taluk, Tiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu.
The programme aimed to educate children about tuberculosis, including its causes, symptoms, prevention, early detection, and the importance of seeking timely medical care. The children were encouraged to actively participate in the awareness activity by creating awareness drawings on tuberculosis prevention and health practices.
The drawing activity helped the children understand the importance of maintaining good health and spreading awareness about TB within their families and communities. To encourage their participation and creativity, prizes were distributed to all the participating children.
The programme was successfully conducted with active participation from more than 50 children and contributed to creating greater awareness about tuberculosis and preventive health practices among the children and the local community.
